Hello Josie
Thanks for the wonderful commentary on our launch. I can't think of anything you have left out. Jan and I were very happy with the day and looking forward to continuing the journey with our group on the 28th.
Helen Blowers will be in Australia in July and I will be meeting with her in Merimbula and then travelling back through East Gippsland, visiting some of our sites, before she attends a library seminar at the State Library in Melbourne on the 23rd. I feel we have really gone 'International' now - We have a link on her blogroll!
Regards

I found your blog via the del.icio.us tags relating to the seminar and was blown away by what you're doing on your wiki and your use of other tools to share your insights and experiences. Keep up the great work!

As a participant I certainly got a lot out of this course. Frankie, Josie and Vanessa were great and modeled online facilitation so well, in an open and very informative way.

I would recommend this course to anyone involved in facilitating online learning.

Hi Beth, I have signed up for my vRoom and hope to use it often, it's a fantastic opportunity for making use of this great tool... and it's free, what more could you want (aside from one or two more seats... you know 4 is the educational standard group number... hint hint :-)

Hello Community Engagement Team Members,

Glad to hear that your experience with Elluminate Live! was a positive one. Creating vital online communities is a key initiative for many organizations today.

And speaking of "eLearning on a shoeshtring," I wanted to make sure you know that Elluminate vRoom is available. It's a FREE, 3-seat version of Elluminate Live! with almost all functionality (except recording). vRoom is a great way to get started with live eLearning and web collaboration at no cost.

Hope this is helpful. To learn more, visit www.getvroom.com.

As a result of their 2006 South Australian Adult Learners' Week Award for Learning Community of the Year, Milang Old School House Community Centre has been nominated for a national Adult Learning Australia Award. We wish MOSHCC every success.

The winners of the national awards will be announced at the Adult Learning Australia Conference in Melbourne later this month.

The opening session by our dynamic Bruce Sullivan had to be experienced - what an energiser. We need more people like Bruce in the world to remind us to see the positives in everything.

Hey all, our July workshops were truly inspirational. I loved the 'significant moment' segment; the motivational bit from Jim Cavaye and the games day with Marie Jasinski. The two days were brilliantly organised once again. Thanks to Mary, Josie, Michael and Delia.
